Established in 1956 by Mohamed Sharif AlRayes in Manama, Bahrain, Sharif Group began with a vision for exceptional tailoring. From its roots in crafting fine garments, the group has grown into a leading name in Bahrain’s retail scene, preserving cultural heritage while embracing modern elegance through its brands, Wool House and A La Mode.

The Group entry into tailoring business in the 1960's during the development of Bahrain's commercial and retail industries marked an era of fine tailoring in Bahrain.From its humble beginning, the enterprise expanded into the trade of watches in 1971 which was followed in 1981 by establishment of agarments factory. Soon after its gradual success, the venture expanded into different companies catering in addition to tailoring, garments and time pieces to the trading and retailing of textiles, fashion accessories, leather, gifts & promotional items as well as electronic items.
